Course: Thinking About Time Management
I completed a course on Lynda.com about time management. As a busy student, I thought this course would be very useful. After a short introductory video, I was prompted to take a pre-quiz, in which I only got 1 out of 4 questions correct. (Participants were not expected to know the answers before the course.) In the course I learned about what is called the 80/20 Rule, which basically suggests that people decide what things in their lives are completely necessary, and what things can be removed. The speaker also explains that everyone has an "Einstein Window", when learning and productivity is at its peak. In order to manage time effectively, people need to discover their Einstein window and commit to it without any distractions. After the course, I was able to retake the quiz, and I answered the questions correctly.
